The Illinois Department of Insurance is warning consumers about a company it said is selling fraudulent health insurance to consumers.

ReAssurance Health has sold numerous “scam” insurance  policies in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin, the department said Thursday.

Anyone who has bought one “should immediately seek legitimate health insurance coverage,” the department said.
